Razpis fundacije CTM za sofinanciranje raziskav bolezni Charcot-Marie-Tooth

 

SUBJECT OF THE CALL:

The CTM Foundation has announced a call for co-financing of research projects aimed at developing drugs and therapies for Charcot Marie Tooth (CMT) disease.

The most promising research leading to the development of therapies for all types of CMT is co-funded. The Foundation also establishes strategic partnerships within the academic, biotechnology, pharmaceutical and regulatory communities to accelerate progress in finding effective solutions. The average amount of funds approved ranges between 100,000 and 200,000 US dollars per year, depending on the level and scope of the research.

New proposals for co-funding are accepted several times a year, with the next application deadlines being: May 20, 2026 and August 12, 2026.

RTFCCR: Razpis za sofinanciranje inovativnih kliničnih raziskav na področju raka

 

SUBJECT OF THE CALL:

The Rising Tide Foundation for Clinical Cancer Research has announced a call for co-funding of innovative and unique patient-centered clinical research with the potential for rapid impact on cancer treatment.

Co-funding of clinical studies aimed at optimizing therapies, reducing the burden of disease and treatment, and early detection and early intervention.

The average amount of funds granted is 100.000,00 US $ 100,000 per year.

New proposals for co-funding are accepted three times a year, the next application deadlines are: June 22, 2026 and November 23, 2026.

SUBJECT OF THE CALL:

The PERIFORMANCE consortium has launched a call for co-financing the preparation and implementation of local or regional stakeholder engagement activities in the field of cancer research and care using a bottom-up approach.

Initiatives will be supported that are adapted to the local or regional environment and involve different stakeholders (e.g. patients, researchers, healthcare professionals and communities) and contribute to:

• promoting stakeholder engagement in cancer research and care

• involving vulnerable and underrepresented groups

• increasing awareness and trust in research infrastructures and the use of health data

• strengthening ethical aspects and public engagement in research and data management

• empowering patients and their active participation

Different forms of activities are supported, such as participatory processes, educational initiatives, communication and artistic activities and the development of new approaches to stakeholder engagement.

EIT Urban Mobility: Razpis za podporo strateškim inovacijam na področju urbane mobilnosti 

  

SUBJECT OF THE CALL:

The EIT Urban Mobility consortium has opened a new round of applications for the public call to support strategic innovations in the field of urban mobility.

The call supports ambitious and market-oriented strategic projects in the field of promoting innovative solutions to urban mobility challenges with the participation of businesses, research and education sectors (the so-called knowledge triangle) and a fourth partner: cities.

The call focuses on five areas: urban logistics, public transport, mobility data management, transport electrification and alternative fuels, and mobility and health.

 

60 million euros are available in the period 2026-2028, which will be distributed within five application deadlines. The 1st and 2nd deadlines have already expired, the third deadline is 18 June 2026, with two more openings to follow: February 2027 and June 2027.

EIT Urban Mobility: Finančna podpora zagonskim podjetjem na področju urbane mobilnosti

 

SUBJECT OF THE CALL:

The EIT Urban Mobility consortium has opened a new round of applications for a public call for financial support to start-ups developing innovative solutions in the field of urban mobility.

They support projects that contribute to the development of sustainable, inclusive and efficient urban mobility and address challenges such as reducing emissions, improving accessibility, safety and efficiency of transport systems.

The call focuses on the following areas:

• urban logistics solutions and the last mile

• public transport and multimodal solutions

• mobility data management and the use of artificial intelligence

• electrification of transport and alternative fuels

• health and mobility

The call is intended to support companies in the pre-seed, seed and Series A stages that are already included in the investment round of raising capital.

In the period 2026 - 2028, 14 million euros are available, which will be distributed within four application deadlines. The 1st deadline has already expired, the second deadline is 18 May 2026, with two more openings to follow: August and November 2027.

As part of the Next Generation Internet project, which is funded under the Horizon Europe research and innovation programme, the eleventh NGI Fediversity call for co-financing of research and development projects that contribute to achieving the objectives of the "Next Generation Internet" initiative and thus to the development of a secure, trustworthy and open Internet is published. The European Fact-Checking Standards Network (EFCSN) has launched a public call for co-financing projects aimed at developing and deploying innovative approaches to fact-checking and combating disinformation.

The call supports:

• development and pilot testing of new tools and approaches to address disinformation,

• upgrading and maintaining existing technological solutions for fact-checking,

• development of strategies to prevent the spread of disinformation,

• implementation of initiatives in the field of media and artificial intelligence literacy,

• strengthening crisis communication capacities,

• development and testing of new fact-checking formats, including short video content.

• expanding fact-checking in countries and languages ​​that are currently poorly or not at all covered,

• supporting organizations in obtaining EFCSN certification and long-term sustainability,

The European Commission has published a public call for Marie Skłodowska-Curie postdoctoral fellowships under Horizon Europe, the Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.

The call supports individual research projects that enable researchers with a doctoral degree to upgrade their knowledge, develop new competences and strengthen their careers through international, cross-sectoral and interdisciplinary mobility.

Projects that involve cooperation between a researcher and a host organisation from the academic or non-academic sector are co-financed.

SUBJECT OF THE CALL:

As part of the Next Generation Internet project, which is funded under the Horizon Europe research and innovation programme, the thirteenth NGI Zero Commons Fund call is published for co-financing research and development projects that contribute to achieving the objectives of the "Next Generation Internet" initiative and thus to the development of a safe, trustworthy and open Internet. The call from the NGI Zero Commons Fund supports initiatives that will contribute to the openness of the Internet and public accessibility in areas where gaps remain.

The European Union – the media freedom hub

Razpis EU za vzpostavitev in delovanje evropskega vozlišča za medijsko svobodo 

 

SUBJECT OF THE CALL:

The European Commission's Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology has launched a call for proposals to support the establishment and operation of a European Media Freedom Hub, building on the existing Free Media Hub EAST project.

The purpose of the call is to provide financial and non-financial support to independent media and journalists from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine operating from EU Member States. The following activities will be supported:

• monitoring and analysis of the needs of independent media and journalists who have moved to the EU,

• financial and non-financial support to expatriate media and journalists,

• strengthening existing media hubs and support networks and improving their coordination,

• promoting cooperation, exchange of good practices, development of business models and audience outreach,

• training for journalists, media organisations and support structures.

 

The aim of the call is to enable independent media and journalists to continue their work in a safe environment and to contribute to the preservation of media pluralism.

CALL VALUE: The funding for one project is expected to be up to

The call supports the production of fact-checking content in various formats, in-depth analyses of disinformation phenomena, communication and dissemination activities to increase outreach, and cooperation with stakeholders in the media space to disseminate verified information.

The European Commission's Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology has launched a call for proposals to strengthen independent reporting on European issues.

The call has three strands:

• production and broadcasting of audiovisual news programmes and reports on EU affairs, including information on the activities and policies of the European institutions: one project worth up to 8.500.000,00 EUR and lasting 12 to 15 months will be supported;

• development or upgrading of news services in languages ​​and environments where coverage of EU topics is limited: one project worth up to  3.107.803,00 EUR and lasting 12 to 15 months will be supported;

• development and strengthening of online EU reporting and access to reliable digital information: two projects worth up to 2.600.000,00 EUR and lasting 18 to 24 months will be supported.

The European Commission's Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion has launched a call for co-financing of information and training measures for workers' organisations for 2026 under the Social Prerogatives and Specific Competencies Lines (SOCPL) programme.

The call aims to strengthen the capacity of workers' organisations to participate in social dialogue at EU level. It supports projects that:

• strengthen the participation of workers' organisations in policy-making and social dialogue at European level,

• address changes in employment and working conditions,

• contribute to the preparation and implementation of social partner agreements at EU level,

• promote the exchange of knowledge, training and the development of tools for social dialogue.

Supported activities include conferences, seminars, studies, training, the development of educational tools, networking and the exchange of good practices.

The Open Society Justice Initiative, operating within the Open Society Foundations, has announced a call for support for strategic litigation projects to protect democratic space, human rights, and the rule of law.

The call supports projects that contribute to systemic change in one or more of the following areas:

• interference with democratic processes, including restrictions on voting rights, candidacy, or the integrity of elections,

• threats, repression, or violence against judges and other justice actors,

The European Commission has launched a call for proposals under the NDICI – Global Europe instrument for co-financing one project in the field of strengthening the role of civil society organisations as independent actors for development and good governance in Eritrea.

Projects will be supported that:

• strengthen the capacity of civil society organisations to work on climate-smart agriculture and other green approaches and transfer knowledge to smallholder farmers and small businesses,

• improve business skills and networking in the private sector,

• promote the economic empowerment of women and youth,

• develop digital solutions for businesses and improve digital competences,

• contribute to the development of sustainable value chains and economic growth.

CALL VALUE: One project worth 459.000,00 EUR will be supported, co-financing up to 90% of eligible costs.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: 8. 7. 2026

PROJECT DURATION: 24 to 36 months.

SUBJECT OF THE CALL:

The European Commission has launched a public call for co-financing projects under the NDICI - Global Europe instrument that support human rights, democracy and the role of civil society organisations in Sri Lanka and the Maldives.

The call has two strands:

• Strand 1: Support for projects that contribute to the protection and promotion of human rights, fundamental freedoms, democracy and the rule of law, with a focus on the impact of digitalisation and new technologies.

• Strand 2: Support for projects that strengthen the role of civil society organisations in good governance, climate action, environmental protection and the green transition.

CALL VALUE:  2.784.500,00 EUR

Lot 1: 1.260.000,00 EUR

Lot 2: 1.524.500,00 EUR

AMOUNTS AND SHARES OF FUNDING:

Under Lot 1, you can apply for projects worth between 1.000.000,00 EUR and  1,260,000.00, and under Lot 2, you can apply for projects worth between EUR 1.000.000,00 EUR and  1.500.000,00 EUR.

Up to 95% of eligible costs are co-financed.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: 25.05.2026

PROJECT DURATION: From 24 to 36 months.

SUBJECT OF THE CALL:

A public call for proposals has been launched under the Neighbourhood, Development and International Cooperation Instrument - Global Europe for co-financing projects that contribute to the economic empowerment of women and their inclusion in the formal economy.

The call supports projects that:

• create decent jobs for women and improve their access to the labour market,

• strengthen women's entrepreneurial, digital and financial skills,

• improve access to finance and financial services, including for women-owned businesses,

• establish links between businesses, markets and supply chains in the EU, the Middle East and the Gulf.

 

LAUNCHING BY: European Commission

CALL VALUE: 5.000.000,00 EUR is available, the amount of funds per project ranges from 2.500.000,00 EUR to 5.000.000,00 EUR co-financing up to 90% of eligible costs.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: 3. 6. 2026

PROJECT DURATION: From 36 to 48 months.

A public call for proposals is being launched under the Neighbourhood, Development and International Cooperation Instrument - Global Europe for co-financing projects that contribute to the promotion and protection of human rights, democracy and the strengthening of civil society organisations in Morocco.

The call supports projects in three strands:

• Strand 1: promotion and protection of human rights, including support for human rights defenders, protection of fundamental freedoms, prevention of corruption and improvement of the situation of persons in prison.

• Strand 2: combating violence against women and protecting children, including prevention, support for victims, data collection and strengthening protection systems.

• Strand 3: strengthening the role of civil society organisations in governance and development, including participation in public policies, advocacy, inclusion of young people and vulnerable groups, and climate and environmental action.

Eva Crane Trust: Razpis za podporo raziskavam in projektom na področju čebelarstva in apiologije

 

SUBJECT OF THE CALL:

The Eva Crane Trust supports micro-projects and research in the field of beekeeping and apiology. The fund is internationally oriented and covers all species of bees (not only honeybees).

 

In the second deadline in 2026, the maximum possible amount per project is 5000 British pounds. Funding is intended primarily for smaller, original initiatives.

Co-financed by:

• scientific research (e.g. studies on bees, their environment, behavior),

• citizen science projects involving the public and beekeepers,

• organization of events (conferences, workshops), and

• preparation of publications (books) in the field of beekeeping and bee science.
