SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
The European Science Foundation (ESF) has launched the Transition Agenda Call 1 within the BlueActionAA project, aimed at supporting the development of transition agendas in the field of sustainable water and ocean management.
The call, through grants and technical support, encourages the development of strategic and implementation orientations that contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the EU Ocean and Water Restoration Mission. Transition agendas may include, among others:
• strategic roadmaps to guide the mission community in achieving the objectives and ensuring long-term impacts by introducing and upgrading solutions relevant to the mission;
• policy recommendations aimed at different levels of governance (EU, regional, national or local), including the development or adaptation of legislation, policies and/or management plans that enable the implementation of mission solutions;

Connecting the Dots: Podpora civilnodružbenim pobudam na področju ekonomske, spolne in podnebne pravičnosti
PREDMET RAZPISA:
Evropska mreža za dolg in razvoj (Eurodad) je v okviru DEAR projekta »Connecting the Dots« objavila javni razpis, amenjen sofinanciranju manjših in srednje velikih civilnodružbenih organizacij, mladinskih in študentskih skupin ter lokalnih pobud, ki delujejo na področju ekonomske, spolne in podnebne pravičnosti.
Podprte bodo aktivnosti ozaveščanja, zagovorništva in mobilizacije javnosti, priprava izobraževalnih gradiv, kampanje, delavnice, dogodki, sodelovanje z mediji ter povezovanje z drugimi organizacijami. Projekti morajo prispevati k boljšemu razumevanju povezav med gospodarsko, družbeno in podnebno pravičnostjo ter spodbujati aktivno državljansko udeležbo, zlasti mladih.

SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
The Joint Innovation Facility (JIF) supports cross-border partnerships between African and European organizations to develop and scale up digital innovations that have a measurable positive impact on the climate.
Projects are funded that:
• develop or upgrade digital solutions,
• contribute to climate change mitigation, adaptation or resilience,
• have a clear business model and growth potential,
• are based on collaboration between African and European partners.
The support is intended to strengthen innovation ecosystems and facilitate access to knowledge, markets and investment between Africa and Europe. Selected projects will receive grants of EUR 100,000 or EUR 200,000 and targeted support.
CALL FOR: SPARK within the AEDIB 2.0 initiative

Consortiums with at least two partners can apply to the call.

Globalna Evropa: Mobilizacija naložb v podnebno odporne in prehransko občutljive agroživilske vrednostne verige v Etiopiji

A public call is being launched under the Neighbourhood, Development and International Cooperation Instrument (Global Europe) to co-finance one project that will contribute to mobilising investments in climate-resilient and nutrition-sensitive agri-food value chains in Ethiopia. SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
The British Wellcome Trust has announced a public call worth 2.5 million British pounds to co-fund research projects on the topic of the impact of climate change on human health.
They are co-funding transdisciplinary projects that will contribute to the visibility of the impact of climate change on human physical and mental health (with an emphasis on those that cannot be traced in the media and/or are underrepresented in public discourse) and to the implementation of policies and measures to prevent and reduce the impacts of these changes on health (with an emphasis on projects/results that can be replicated in different settings). They will support transdisciplinary research carried out in collaboration with communities and social actors, with a high impact for achieving change.

Fondation Franklinia: Sofinanciranje projektov za ohranjanje ogroženih drevesnih vrst v Sredozemlju
SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
The Franklinia Foundation has published a call for co-financing of projects that contribute to the main objective of the foundation: to preserve endangered tree species, prevent their extinction and improve their conservation status.
Within the framework of this call, the foundation accepts projects that concern endangered tree species in the Mediterranean regions of the following countries: Gibraltar, Spain, Portugal, Monaco, France, Malta, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Palestine, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco. If several projects are registered in the same geographical area, the foundation expects concrete cooperation between the organizations operating there.
The call supports projects that implement concrete conservation measures on the ground. Only projects aimed at improving the conservation status of globally threatened tree species listed on the IUCN Red List as Vulnerable (VU), Endangered (EN) or Critically Endangered (CR) are eligible. • Lot 1 - Blue Economy: Support for projects that promote sustainable fishing and aquaculture, the protection of marine biodiversity, sustainable coastal management and the development of value chains. Projects must involve local communities and promote economic opportunities, including for women and small businesses.

The overall objective of the call is to strengthen participatory democracy, the protection of human rights and the EU approximation process in Bosnia and Herzegovina through a strengthened contribution from civil society and the media. The call is divided into five strands:

The Fondation Centre Pompadour, an Austrian foundation whose socio-political mission is to research, develop and disseminate feminist ideas and promote comprehensive gender equality in all areas of life, has published a call for applications for 2026.
The foundation awards one grant each year worth up to EUR 30.000,00 EUR. Supported projects must be placed in a broader social context and be connected to public debate, social discourse or collective reflection.
Projects that raise public awareness, stimulate debate or strengthen critical consideration of feminist issues are particularly welcome. These also include initiatives that address or prevent sexist and/or discriminatory attacks on human dignity in physical and digital spaces and contribute to the exercise of individual rights and autonomy. SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
The Culture Helps Solidarity consortium, implemented by the European Cultural Foundation in collaboration with Insha Osvita, zusa and the VETERANKA movement, has launched the first call for grants for international cultural collaborations to support artists and cultural professionals from Ukraine in maintaining creativity, resilience and community cohesion during and after the war.
The call supports cross-border cultural projects that, through art and culture, improve access to cultural participation and support the integration of internally displaced persons and refugees from Ukraine into host communities. Special attention is paid to vulnerable groups, in particular veterans, and to mental health issues.
Supported projects must be based on cooperation between organizations from Ukraine and countries included in the Creative Europe program and contribute to:
• cross-border networking and exchange of knowledge and good practices,
• strengthening of capacities for intercultural dialogue and mental health support,
• professional development of cultural leaders in accordance with EU standards,

SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
The European Commission's Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion has launched a call for co-financing of one preparatory project to support advisory structures for mobile migrant workers.
One transnational project will be supported, which will aim to analyse the challenges faced by mobile migrant workers and to monitor and evaluate the functioning of advisory structures in countries of origin. Particular emphasis is placed on risk sectors such as construction, international road transport, domestic care and seasonal work in the hospitality and agriculture sectors, as well as on posted third-country nationals.
The project must include:
• development and improvement of practices and information and advisory tools for mobile and posted workers,
• implementation of individual advice and support in exercising rights,
• establishment or expansion of advice centres or networks in at least nine countries (including two to four candidate or potential candidate countries),
• establishment and coordination of a network of advisors and exchange of good practices,
• monitoring and evaluation of existing advisory structures.
The project must contribute to the development of knowledge and recommendations for the possible establishment of a permanent European network of advisory structures for mobile migrant workers.

Journalism Science Alliance: Call for Science-Backed Investigative Journalism
SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
NOVA University Lisbon and the European Journalism Centre have launched a public call for co-financing projects within the framework of the European programme to promote investigative journalism supported by scientific evidence (Journalism Science Alliance).
The aim of the programme is to strengthen cooperation between media organisations and research institutions in Europe and to improve the credibility, depth and impact of investigative journalism. They will support investigative journalism projects that address issues of public interest and will be carried out by teams that include at least one media organisation (project leader) and one research or academic institution.
In addition to financial support (10,000, 20,000 or 50,000 euros, depending on the scope and complexity of the project), the teams will also receive targeted mentoring, access to training and opportunities to participate in networking events.

The support is intended for individual freelancers or small teams of independent journalists who operate without institutional support from major media outlets. Projects must be published in media outlets that reach the public in at least two countries eligible under the Creative Europe programme. Investigative projects are co-financed that:

• include a cross-border dimension,

TorinoFilmLab has announced the TFL Co-Production Fund 2026 call, intended to support feature film projects in an advanced stage of development, which are created as international co-productions between producers from countries included in the MEDIA sub-programme and producers from countries not included in the MEDIA programme.
The call supports projects in the field of feature film, animation and creative documentary, with a length of at least 60 minutes, which plan to complete production and submit a report to TorinoFilmLab by 31. 10. 2028.
