The COSMIC consortium, which aims to accelerate the green transition through artificial intelligence and data solutions, has published a public call for project co-financing.
The call is intended to select and support innovative proposals that develop, test and validate artificial intelligence-based solutions using diverse datasets - with the aim of optimizing energy resources on a large scale and supporting the transition to a climate-neutral society.

PURPOSE OF THE CALL:
The SoilTribes (Glocal ecosystems restoring soil values, roles and connectivity) consortium has announced a public call for co-financing of collaborative projects in the field of raising awareness and educating the public about the importance of soil conservation and promoting the involvement of diverse communities in soil protection and restoration.
The call has two sections: Section 1 is intended for the development and support of new ideas, and Section 2 is for upgrading or expanding existing projects. Within both sections, you can apply for activities such as communication campaigns, cultural and artistic events and initiatives, and activities to promote community involvement.

CALL VALUE: 1.750.000,00 EUR

Biodiversa+: Sofinanciranje transnacionalnih raziskovalno-inovacijskih projektov BiodivConnect
PURPOSE OF THE CALL:
The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Slovenia, announces that the European Biodiversa+ Partnership has published the fifth joint transnational call for research and innovation projects BiodivConnect. The call focuses on restoring the functioning, integrity and connectivity of ecosystems.
Special emphasis is placed on the long-term sustainability and resilience of measures, from the local to the global level. The content of the call is divided into three non-exclusive research topics:
• setting restoration goals and measuring success,
• transferability and scaling up of nature restoration efforts,
• resilience and sustainability of restoration activities.
The call opens on 9 September 2025.
CALLING BY: European Biodiversa Partnership
CALL VALUE: The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Slovenia is expected to co-finance the cooperation of Slovenian partners up to a total amount of 900.000,00 EUR. The Slovenian part of an individual international project can amount to a maximum of 300.000,00 EUR for the entire duration of the project.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: 7 November 2025
PROJECT DURATION: 3 years.
ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS:
To be eligible to apply, transnational consortia must include research groups from at least three countries that will financially participate in the call. At least two of them must be from EU Member States or associated countries.
Financing of Slovenian partners: research organizations as defined by the Scientific Research and Innovation Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, Nos. 186/21, 40/23, 102/24 and 40/25) are eligible for co-financing, in accordance with the national annex to the public call.

I3-4-SEAWEED: Sofinanciranje inovativnih rešitev za rast in tržno uveljavitev inovativnih poslovnih rešitev v sektorju morskih (makro)alg
PURPOSE OF THE CALL:
The I3-4-SEAWEED consortium, which aims to stimulate the growth and market uptake of innovative business solutions in the marine (macro)algae sector, has launched a call for proposals worth 1.800.000,00 EUR.
The project supports the development of cross-border value chains based on new sustainable cultivation methods and biotechnological applications of algae, with a focus on sustainable transformation and commercial readiness of solutions.
The call seeks innovative solutions (minimum TRL 6) that will contribute to the investment project by addressing key challenges such as filling gaps in the value chain, supporting testing and improving products or processes, and developing new processing technologies. The call is divided into two lots: Lot A - Macroalgae production; Lot B - Macroalgae biotechnology and further applications.

PartArt4OW: Drugi razpis za sofinanciranje interdisciplinarnih projektov na presečišču umetnosti, znanosti in participativnih praks
PURPOSE OF THE CALL:
The PartArt4OW (Participatory Art for Society Engagement with Ocean and Water) consortium has launched its second public call for co-financing participatory art initiatives.
They will co-finance interdisciplinary projects at the intersection of art, science and participatory practices that will:
• contribute to greater ocean literacy among citizens
• raise awareness of the challenges and pressures facing oceans and inland waters, and
• mobilize citizens and other key stakeholders for the protection and restoration of oceans and inland waters.
The second call focuses on the following challenge: Actively engaging communities in the Mediterranean in the fight against water pollution.
Selected projects will receive up to €50,000 in funding and will participate in a program that includes mentoring, training and networking opportunities.

PURPOSE OF THE CALL:
The AGRARIAN project consortium has announced a second call for co-financing the development and testing of new digital technologies, with a focus on artificial intelligence and IoT innovations that will contribute to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly agriculture.
With this call, they want to expand the scope and technological impact of the AGRARIAN project. 400.000,00 EUR are available for the second call, and they want to join the AGRARIAN community with eight new partners who will receive funds of up to 50.000,00 EUR.

A public call is being launched under the Neighbourhood, Development and International Cooperation Instrument (Global Europe) to co-finance projects in the field of promoting and protecting human rights, the rule of law and democratic governance, strengthening the cooperation of civil society organisations and promoting an enabling environment for the operation of NGOs in Albania.
The call has two lots:

PURPOSE OF THE CALL:
As part of the Next Generation Internet project, which is funded under the Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme, the ninth NGI Zero Commons Fund call is being launched for co-financing research and development projects that contribute to achieving the objectives of the "Next Generation Internet" initiative and thus to the development of a safe, trustworthy and open Internet. The call from the NGI Zero Commons Fund supports initiatives that will contribute to the openness of the Internet and public accessibility in areas where gaps remain.

PURPOSE OF THE CALL:
The dAIEDGE Consortium (Network of Excellence for distributed, trustworthy, efficient and scalable AI at the Edge) has launched its third call for co-financing the development of artificial intelligence solutions at the edge of the network.
The call for collaborative projects will support up to 10 proposals to solve specific industrial challenges identified by the dAIEDGE Consortium, with the possibility of using resources from the dAIEDGE Virtual Laboratory.
