LIFE - program za okolje in podnebne ukrepe
SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
LIFE is the largest European financial mechanism dedicated exclusively to actions in the field of environmental protection, nature conservation and climate change mitigation and adaptation. The objective of the programme is to contribute to sustainable development and to the achievement of the objectives of the Europe 2020 Strategy, the 7th Environment Action Programme of the Union and other EU initiatives in the field of environment and climate change.
On 11 December 2013, the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union adopted Regulation No. 1293/2013 establishing a Programme for the Environment and Climate Action (LIFE).
GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
(a) to contribute to the shift to a more sustainable, low-carbon and resource-efficient economy, to protect and improve the quality of the environment and to halt or reverse the loss of biodiversity, including support for the Natura 2000 network and to combat the degradation of ecosystems;
(b) to improve the development, implementation and enforcement of Union environmental and climate policy and legislation, to promote and advocate the integration and mainstreaming of environmental and climate objectives in other Union policies and in public and private practice, including by enhancing the capacity of the public and private sectors;
(c) to support better environmental and climate governance at all levels, including through the closer involvement of civil society, non-governmental organisations and local actors;
(d) to support the implementation of the 7th Environment Action Programme.
In pursuing these objectives, the LIFE Programme shall contribute to sustainable development and the achievement of the objectives of the Europe 2020 Strategy and the relevant Union environmental and climate strategies and plans.
SUB-PROGRAMMES:
(a) the Sub-Programme for Environment (the Sub-Programme has three priority areas: Environment and Resource Efficiency, Nature and Biodiversity, Environmental Governance and Information);
(b) the sub-programme for climate action (the sub-programme has three priority areas: climate change mitigation, climate change adaptation, climate governance and information).
The following projects may be financed through action grants:
(a) pilot projects;
(b) demonstration projects;
(c) best practice projects;
(d) integrated projects;
(e) technical assistance projects;
(f) capacity-building projects;
(g) preparatory projects;
(h) information, awareness and dissemination projects;
(i) any other projects necessary for the achievement of the general objectives.

EIT Urban Mobility: Razpis za podporo strateškim inovacijam na področju urbane mobilnosti
CALL SUBJECT:
The EIT Urban Mobility consortium has launched a call for proposals to support strategic innovation in urban mobility.
The call supports ambitious and market-oriented strategic projects in the field of fostering innovative solutions to urban mobility challenges through the cooperation of businesses, research and education (the so-called knowledge triangle) and a fourth partner: cities.
The call focuses on five areas: urban logistics, public transport, mobility data management, transport electrification and alternative fuels, and mobility and health.
60 million EUR is available for the period 2026-2028, to be distributed over four application periods. The 1st deadline expires on 23 September 2025, followed by three more openings: February 2026, June 2026, February 2027.

CALL SUBJECT:
EIT Urban Mobility invites organisations and professionals to submit proposals for the Urban Mobility Explained (UMX) call, which aims to accelerate the development and implementation of high-quality, sustainability-oriented professional training and support services that address knowledge gaps in the field of urban mobility.
This call focuses on a range of concrete activities aimed at strengthening the knowledge and skills of mobility professionals and organisations, in particular at local or city level, with the aim of achieving systemic change for more liveable cities. The call supports proposals that offer high-quality, impact-oriented and financially sustainable learning experiences and leverage the EIT Urban Mobility network and expertise in different learning formats.
Proposals are sought that are aligned with the strategic objectives of the EIT Urban Mobility Academy, foster innovation and entrepreneurship through a lifelong learning approach, and demonstrate potential for replication and scaling up. The focus is on training courses that are – where applicable – compliant with the EIT Label requirements.

SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
The Go Green, Get Digital, Be Resilient programme, part of the TASTE project, is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises and organisations at the intersection of food and tourism. The aim is to improve their resilience, sustainability and digital readiness by supporting innovative and international collaborations.
A total of 750.000,00 EUR is available to support at least 40 partnership projects involving at least 80 organisations. Each selected project will receive 15.000,00 EUR in financial support, along with technical advice and opportunities to participate in international innovation-focused events. Outstanding projects may receive an additional 10.000,00 EUR.

PROJECT DURATION: The expected duration of the cooperation is 6 to 11 months.
ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS:
The lead applicant must be legally registered in Belgium, Italy, Latvia, Slovenia or Spain. Other partners may be registered in any EU Member State or non-EU country participating in the Single Market Programme, provided that they meet certain criteria. If the organisation is an SME, it must meet the definition of an SME according to EU Recommendation 2003/361. Tourism SMEs must be classified under the relevant NACE codes covering tourism activities or must demonstrate active economic activity within the tourism ecosystem.
Partnership requirements:
Projects must be submitted by a partnership of at least two (2) and at most five (5) organisations, which must be independent of each other (without structural, legal or financial control).
Participation of tourism SMEs:
At least 50% of the partners must be tourism SMEs. For example, a consortium of 3 or 4 partners must include at least 2 tourism SMEs, and a consortium of 5 partners must include at least 3. In addition, at least 60% of the financial support must be allocated to participating tourism SMEs.
Partnership composition:
Partnerships can be established in one of the following ways:
• A tourism SME as the lead applicant together with one or more additional tourism SMEs.
• A tourism SME as the lead applicant together with one or more tourism-related organisations, where at least 50% of the partners must be tourism SMEs.
• A tourism SME as the lead applicant together with SMEs from other sectors (e.g. agri-food, culture, digital technologies), where at least 50% of the total partners must be tourism SMEs.

Razpis DUT 2025
SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
The aim of the call is to support cross-border research and/or innovation projects that help cities address urban challenges and transition to a climate-neutral and more resilient future for all.
Three-year research and innovation projects focusing on urban areas in the context of the efforts to achieve climate-neutral and resilient cities must support one or more of the three key thematic areas called Transition Pathways: 15-minute city, Circular Urban Economy and Positive Energy Districts. The call covers a wide range of scientific disciplines, such as strategic urban research, applied urban research and urban innovation.
This is the fourth call of the DUT partnership, co-funded by the European Commission (EC) under the Horizon Europe Framework Programme.
CALLING BY: DUT - Driving Urban Transitions
CALL VALUE: The size of the project is not limited by a minimum or maximum budget. However, most projects are expected to have a total budget of between 1 and 2 million euros.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: 17. 11. 2025
ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS:
Research organisations, businesses and commercial organisations, city administrations, consumers and civil society representatives, and actors from the cultural and creative sectors.

The EIT Digital2025 Consortium has launched a call for proposals inviting universities to co-design a new Master’s degree programme that will combine the areas of business excellence, innovation and entrepreneurship, and digital transformation.

The Horizon Europe research and innovation programme has launched a call for applications for the EU Women Innovators Awards 2025. The award, jointly awarded by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) and the European Innovation Council (EIC), recognises female entrepreneurs who have made a mark on the market with exceptional innovations.
It is intended for female entrepreneurs from the EU and countries associated with Horizon Europe whose innovations make a significant contribution to social and environmental change.
The call has two categories:

Activities aimed at raising awareness about the importance of intellectual property
SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
This call for proposals is aimed at young people, in particular in the 14-25 age group, and seeks to broaden the transfer of knowledge on intellectual property to this target group.
The general objectives of this call for proposals are:
- To increase knowledge and awareness of the value of intellectual property as a tool for protecting creativity and innovation and to educate the public about the harmful effects of intellectual property rights infringements.
- To raise awareness of the risks associated with the purchase of counterfeit and pirated products or services and to reduce the attractiveness of counterfeiting and piracy.
- To promote a culture of respect for intellectual property through measures that reward creativity, encourage innovation and strengthen entrepreneurship and responsible digital engagement among young people.
The specific objectives of this call for proposals are:
- To disseminate information and materials on intellectual property among young people through campaigns, events, competitions and other activities using various communication channels.
- Expand the implementation of activities to as many EU Member States as possible.
- Use existing and publicly available content and materials from the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
- Activities funded by the call must demonstrate long-term sustainability, meaning their continued inclusion in the core activities of the beneficiary even after the end of the funding period.

The Code4Europe Consortium in collaboration with JA Europe is announcing a call for small grants to promote local (grassroots) activities in the field of digital literacy, programming and computational thinking.
The purpose of the call is to support the establishment of new support centers and local lead initiatives in selected countries where there is currently no national center for EU Code Week.
Key objectives:
• Establish support points for educators at the local level.
• Encourage innovative and scalable ideas to support local digital ecosystems.

The Netherlands Helsinki Committee has launched the third public call within the framework of the Catalyst of Change project programme, with which they are strengthening the civil society response to new trends affecting democratic and civic space and civil society in five target countries: Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia and Portugal.
The aim of the third public call is to strengthen the communication capacities of civil society organisations working in the areas of women's rights, environmental justice and the fight against corruption in five EU Member States: Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia and Portugal.
The purpose of the call is to empower NGOs to effectively raise public awareness, activate citizens and promote the fundamental values of the EU through targeted communication strategies and campaigns. By supporting initiatives such as awareness-raising campaigns, enhanced social media presence, media engagement and the development of communication materials, the call aims to increase public understanding and support for democratic principles, human rights and the rule of law.

SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
The EACEA - Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency has launched the "European Remembrance" call for proposals for 2025 under the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values programme.
Co-financing will be provided to projects (national or international) that aim to commemorate key moments in recent European history, including the causes and consequences of authoritarian and totalitarian regimes. Priority will be given to actions that promote tolerance, mutual understanding, intercultural dialogue and reconciliation as a way to overcome the past and build the future, in particular to reach out to younger generations.

The European Commission's Directorate-General for Justice and Consumers has launched a call for proposals under the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme for the conclusion of three-year partnership agreements with networks of NGOs at European level active in the field of promoting and protecting the rights of persons with disabilities.
The call for framework partnership agreements is linked to the call for support for the operation of EU networks CERV-2025-OG-DISA-SGA - European networks wishing to apply for co-financing of annual programmes must submit an application for the conclusion of agreements under this call.

SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
LOT 1: Human Rights and Democracy (HRD)
The general objective is to promote and protect human rights and fundamental freedoms, democracy and the rule of law in Uzbekistan.
The specific objectives are:
1. Protect and promote civil, political, social, economic and cultural rights;
2. Strengthen the capacity of local civil society activists and NGOs to actively engage in promoting youth inclusion, gender equality and women's empowerment, media literacy, and initiatives for environmental sustainability and climate change;
3. Protect fundamental freedoms, including by seizing the opportunities and managing the challenges of new technologies, to create and maintain an environment that enables the full exercise of all fundamental freedoms, both online and offline.
The priorities are:
• Strengthening the capacity of civil society, women's and youth organisations to combat discrimination in all its forms, in particular violence against women, and contributing to political dialogue on gender equality and women's rights, and enabling active participation, inclusive growth and decision-making through women's empowerment.
• Strengthening the capacity of civil society organisations to exercise fundamental freedoms, to promote and protect freedom of opinion and expression by ensuring transparency and accountability, as well as strengthening media and digital skills and combating hate speech in the media.
• Promoting the representation, participation and active involvement of young people in decision-making and reform processes.
• Promoting the inclusion and respect for the fundamental rights of vulnerable groups (minorities, people with disabilities).
• Supporting freedom of expression, freedom of the media, unrestricted access to information and the fight against disinformation, taking into account new and digital technologies.
• Raising awareness of human rights issues, promoting positive discourse on human rights in the digital environment and combating negative trends (hate speech, stigmatization, disinformation).
• Protecting and supporting human rights defenders and activists at the local level and strengthening their capacities.
LOT 2: Civil Society Organizations (CSOs)
The general objective is to strengthen local civil society organizations (CSOs) as independent actors of good governance and development in Uzbekistan.
The specific objectives are:
• Strengthening the capacity of local CSOs to engage in national-level policy dialogue and in the dialogue, implementation and monitoring of national development programs and plans;
• Increasing the capacity of civil society organizations to more effectively perform their role as independent development actors and improving efforts to promote an enabling environment for CSOs;
• Improving the capacity and capabilities of local CSOs to maintain and promote an enabling environment and democratic space in Uzbekistan, supporting local governments in implementing and monitoring national initiatives and plans on decentralization and the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs);
• Strengthening the capacity of local CSOs to engage in the areas of gender equality and youth inclusion, and strengthening the capacity of local women’s and youth partner CSOs.
The priority areas of this call are: democratic governance, the Green Deal (i.e. climate change, environment), sustainable economic growth and jobs, women’s and youth empowerment, mass media and journalism.
The actions must include a significant element of capacity development of local civil society organizations (CSOs), ensuring the principles of empowerment, accountability, participation and non-discrimination of vulnerable groups, and be in line with the overall objective of the CSO Programme.

• Strengthening the protection and promotion of human rights and fundamental freedoms, democracy and the rule of law worldwide, which is a key priority of EU external action and a prerequisite for sustainable development and the creation of more inclusive, open and resilient societies.
Specific objectives of Strand 3 – Human Rights and Democracy:
• To contribute to the full enjoyment of all human rights for all – civil, political, economic, social and cultural –, to enable independent civil society actors to promote human rights and fundamental freedoms and to empower them to address gender equality and women’s empowerment.
• To ensure better representation of women and young people in institutions, decision-making processes and procedures.
Priorities of Strand 3 – Human Rights and Democracy:
• To protect and empower individuals.
• To strengthen the capacity, effectiveness and resilience of civil society and other relevant human rights actors – including in the areas of advocacy and public awareness-raising – to support civil society organisations in their work to advance gender equality and women’s empowerment.

The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) has launched a call for applications for the European Youth Response Fund for Pollinators. • Researchers in Schools: Activities where researchers visit schools and work with teachers and students to address current societal issues such as climate change, sustainable development and health.
The aim of this call is to bring researchers and research closer to the wider public. Projects should last up to 24 months, with a focus on engaging diverse groups and encouraging young people to take up scientific careers.

SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
The EIT Digital2025 Consortium has published a call inviting universities to co-design a new master's program that will combine the fields of data science, sustainable development, and innovation and entrepreneurship.
The selected institutions will design the master's program and become part of the EIT Digital education portfolio. EIT Digital will then provide them with funding and strategic support for the implementation of the program.

Razpis: Podpora mednarodni HPC poletni šoli (IHPCSS)
SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
The primary objective is European support for the organisation and implementation of the International High Performance Computing Summer School (IHPCSS). This includes financial support for the annual participation of up to 40 early career researchers in the field of High Performance Computing from EuroHPC participating countries in the IHPCSS Summer School.
Building on the experience gained to date, the initiative aims to provide high-quality, multidisciplinary training in the field of High Performance Computing and quantum technologies for doctoral students and early career postdoctoral researchers.
Co-organised with leading international partners in the field of HPC, the action will provide a top-notch training programme delivered by top HPC experts, combining theoretical and practical content in a balanced ratio.

SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
The European Commission has published a set of five two-stage calls for co-financing research and innovation projects in the field of health (HORIZON-JU-IHI-2025-11-two-stage) under Horizon Europe, the Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.
