The TIDAL ArtS (TransformIng anD inspiring Aquatic Landscapes through Art and Sciences) consortium has announced a public call to support artists and collectives working at the intersection of art, science and citizen engagement, and contributing to the protection and restoration of our oceans and inland waters through their artistic expression.

PURPOSE OF THE CALL:
The third call for co-financing of standard projects is published within the framework of the transnational Interreg Alpine Space programme for the period 2021-2027. The call is intended to collect project proposals aimed at exploiting untapped potential and challenges in the Alpine regions.
Co-financing is limited to co-financing of standard projects under the following specific objectives under thematic priorities 1, 2 and 3:
Priority 1 - A climate-resilient and green Alpine region
• Objective: Improving the protection and conservation of nature, biodiversity and green infrastructure, including in urban areas, and reducing all forms of pollution

Detecting influence campaigns and boosting societal resilience

The European Commission's Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology has launched a call for proposals to support two pilot projects in the field of detecting malicious campaigns and strengthening society's resilience to the spread of false information.
Two projects will be supported:
• Lot 1: focused on monitoring discourses and detecting malicious campaigns in the EU information space,
• Lot 2: focused on analysing the impact of online disinformation on citizens and developing concrete responses to reduce social polarisation.

The National Endowment for Democracy (NED) announces that proposals for new projects, which will be decided at the September 2025 board meeting, will be accepted until May 20, 2025.
The NED supports projects in the field of promoting, developing and consolidating democracy and the rule of law, and respect for human rights, including support for independent media. They primarily support activities in countries in transition and in authoritarian countries.

The European Commission, through its Representation in Slovenia, has launched a call for proposals for the selection of partners for the implementation of the EUROPE DIRECT Centres for the period 2026-2030.
The mission of the EUROPE DIRECT Centres is to bring the EU closer to its citizens. EUROPE DIRECT Centres:
• Provide information on EU policies and actions
• Listen to citizens' opinions on European content
• Discuss with citizens the impact of the EU on their daily lives
• Contribute to strengthening active citizenship
• Contribute to the creation of a European public space

PURPOSE OF THE CALL:
Profil Klett, as a member of the consortium and coordinator of the regional hub for the EU Code Week initiative in Croatia and Slovenia, has announced a public call for co-financing micro-projects in the field of programming and promoting computational thinking and digital skills.
Key objectives:
• Development of innovative and scalable programming activities.
• Support for initiatives that integrate programming into education and promote inclusion.
• Involvement of communities and promotion of cooperation between stakeholders.
• Priority will be given to projects that reduce gender gaps and promote diversity in STEM education.
• Promotion of digital skills for young people, especially girls.
Eligible activities: programming workshops, hackathons and competitions, development of digital learning materials, STEM projects in schools, campaigns and events, online education and collaborative projects (partnerships between schools, NGOs and technology companies).
