OBJECT OF THE CALL:
The German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK) has published a public call for co-financing of medium-sized projects within the framework of the International Climate Initiative (IKI) for the year 2025. The IKI program supports projects that contribute to the implementation of the goals of the Paris Agreement and the Convention on Biological Diversity.
The call is intended to co-finance medium-sized projects implemented in cooperation with local partners. Projects that contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, adaptation to climate change and the conservation of biodiversity are supported. Project activities must be implemented in developing countries that are on the DAC list of ODA beneficiaries.

SUBJECT OF THE CALL:

The program supports large international projects that contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, strengthening adaptation to climate change and preserving biodiversity. The call is intended for large-scale measures in countries that are on the DAC list of ODA beneficiaries. Support is aimed at projects that contribute to the implementation of national climate and biodiversity strategies and plans, strengthen institutional and professional capacities and support the restructuring of sectors towards low-carbon and sustainable development.

SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
CAN Europe has launched a public call for co-financing projects under the Climate Action Engagement Fund for 2025-2026. They support projects that contribute to public engagement in climate action, strengthening community resilience, reducing emissions and promoting a just green transition.
They support the following activities:
• raising awareness, promoting critical understanding and public engagement on climate justice and a just transition,
• mobilising European citizens to take action on climate justice and a just transition,
• engaging with decision-makers to drive change.
The call has two strands:
• Strand 1: Just transition with a focus on housing and energy,

SoS2LearnDBS: Javni razpis za sofinanciranje skupnostno vodenih projektov obnove voda v Podonavju in Črnomorski regiji
SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
The SoS2LearnDBS consortium has launched a public call for support for pilot, community-led projects that contribute to the restoration and sustainable management of freshwater and marine ecosystems in the Danube River Basin and the Black Sea Region.
Projects can address a variety of challenges related to habitat restoration, pollution reduction and the development of sustainable approaches in the blue economy. Solutions that can be replicated and scaled up in other parts of the region are supported.
Funded projects should strengthen the capacities of participating organisations, foster collaboration and engage in joint activities such as knowledge exchange, collaborative learning and the joint development of tools and practices that support the protection of aquatic ecosystems and climate resilience.

ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS:
The call is open to legal entities operating within or officially acting on behalf of local Mission Communities. Applicants do not need to be existing members of local Mission Communities at the time of application, but must clearly demonstrate that they will contribute to the mission objectives (ecosystem restoration, pollution reduction, blue economy, climate resilience) and collaborate with local Mission Communities in implementing activities.
The following are eligible as consortium members:
• regional and local authorities, including municipalities and regional administrations,
• non-governmental organisations, foundations, professional associations and other civil society organisations active in the field of sustainability, local development or environmental protection,
• educational establishments such as schools, universities and vocational training institutions,
• local businesses and SMEs from areas relevant to the call, provided that their participation does not conflict with State aid rules,
• research organisations, including universities, public research institutes and innovation centres,
• other formally established organisations within the Mission Communities framework.
Projects must be implemented in one of the five target regions: the Upper, Middle or Lower Danube, the Danube Delta or the Black Sea region. SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
The TASC-RestoreMed consortium has launched a public call for co-financing projects that contribute to the restoration and sustainable management of marine and coastal ecosystems in the Mediterranean.
The call supports two types of projects:
• Community-Led Actions (CLA): projects for the dissemination and deployment of solutions that have already reached a level of technological or implementation readiness of at least TRL5+ and demonstrate business and societal readiness. 7.000.000,00 EUR is available for this block, and a minimum of five projects will be supported, with a value between 200.000,00 EUR and 1.400.000,00 EUR and a maximum duration of 24 months.
• Transition Agenda Development (TAD): projects for the preparation of local and regional strategic plans, governance analyses, legislation or policies. EUR 1 million is available for this block, and a minimum of 10 projects will be supported, with a value of up to 100.000,00 EUR and a maximum duration of 12 months.
All selected projects will receive additional expert support, such as consultancy, business model development, impact assessment and support for stakeholder engagement.

FORWARDS: Pilotni projekti za uvajanje podnebju prijaznega gospodarjenja z gozdovi in obnove gozdov z vključevanjem državljanov

The European Forest Institute, within the FORWARDS project (The ForestWard Observatory to Secure Resilience of European Forests), has published a public call for co-financing pilot projects that introduce climate-smart forest management and forest restoration in Europe. SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
The AGRO-WELL consortium has announced a public call for proposals for the demonstration and verification of innovative solutions in the field of smart agriculture.
Co-financing is intended for solutions based on artificial intelligence, robotics or augmented reality that improve working conditions, reduce physical labor and enable more efficient and safer farming.
Support is aimed at solutions that:
• reduce physical strain and repetitive tasks,
• improve the safety of farm workers,
• enable decision-making based on data and digital tools,
• are ready for testing in real conditions,
• can be used in at least one of the agricultural systems covered by the AGRO-WELL project (greenhouses, open fields, pig farming).

LILAS4SOILS: Razpis za kmetovalce in ponudnike MRV rešitev za testiranje inovativnih tehnologij spremljanja organskega ogljika v tleh
SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
The LILAS4SOILS consortium has launched a public call for proposals to co-finance the testing and validation of innovative technologies for the monitoring, reporting and verification (MRV) of soil organic carbon in agricultural systems in Southern Europe and the Mediterranean.
The aim of the call is to select up to 15 solutions that improve measurement accuracy, reduce sampling costs and contribute to the standardization of SOC monitoring in a network of five field testing laboratories in Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Greece and Israel.

SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
Coefficient Giving has announced a public call for co-financing of projects that contribute to improving forecasting and argumentation using artificial intelligence. They support projects that develop or test artificial intelligence models and tools for better forecasting, claim verification, argument analysis, and other methods to strengthen reliable judgment. Research and development of solutions that contribute to better decision-making in areas with large social impacts will be supported.

The European Commission has launched a call for proposals to support civil society and media organisations and strengthen systems for preventing and addressing gender-based violence in North Macedonia.
The call includes two lots:
• Lot 1: Support to civil society and media in participating in reform processes, monitoring policies and strengthening the rule of law, media freedom, digital security and the green transition.
• Lot 2: Support to measures to combat gender-based violence and domestic violence, including the development and implementation of specialised services for victims of violence.

Youth Climate Changemakers Fund: Javni poziv za projektne predloge mladinskih organizacij
SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
The Generation Climate Europe (GCE) coalition has launched a public call for co-financing projects of youth groups and youth organizations within the Youth Climate Changemakers Fund.
The purpose of the fund is to provide financial support and training to strengthen an inclusive youth climate movement. The call supports projects that contribute to the following objectives:
• strengthening the youth climate movement by improving access to financial support, training and networking,
• engaging new youth groups and organizations that are not traditionally involved in climate issues,
• creating long-term impact, encouraging the growth of organizations and their continued contribution to climate action,
• participating in the Funding Fairer Futures community,

2G4V: Testiranje orodij za delo z žrtvami nasilja v realnem okolju organizacije
CALL SUBJECT:
The 2Gether4Victims (2G4V) consortium has launched a public call for support to organisations that directly assist victims of gender-based violence, domestic violence and intimate partner violence. The call is intended to test two new victim support tools in the real working environment of organisations.
The call supports the pilot implementation of two new tools developed within the 2G4V project:
• INA (tool for needs assessment and support planning) and
• OSA (tool for organisational self-assessment in victim support).
Selected organisations will receive access to comprehensive training on the use of the tools, professional support and financial coverage of costs related to the implementation of the pilot.
The organizations will:
• participate in a training program that includes participation in a five-day spring school in the first quarter of 2026 and completion of online training,
• test both tools in their operations,
• provide feedback on the adaptation of the tools to the objectives of the call,
• prepare a report on the changes introduced in the organization.

Digital Freedom Fund: Podpora strateški litigaciji za zaščito človekovih pravic v digitalnem okolju v Evropi
SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
The Digital Freedom Fund has opened a new round of applications for a public call to support strategic litigation activities to protect human rights in the digital environment in Europe.
They are particularly interested in cases in the following areas: enforcing the right to privacy; free flow of information; human rights and technology. They support case monitoring activities and preparatory activities for court proceedings, where the cases must be strategic, i.e. have a wider impact and the potential for legislative, political and social change.
CALLING BY: Digital Freedom Fund
CALL VALUE: In recent years, the annual budget for calls has been approximately 800.000,00 EUR and an average of around 20 applications have been approved per year.
FUNDING AMOUNTS AND TASKS: The average amount of the grant awarded is: approximately 45.000,00 EUR for litigation track projects and approximately 25.000,00 EUR for pre-litigation research projects. Grants of lower amounts have also been approved so far, starting from 3.000,00 EUR and in rare cases, individual litigation projects with amounts exceeding 100.000,00 EUR.

The Code4Europe Consortium has announced a call for co-financing of small-scale projects in the field of digital education, coding and computational thinking in Slovenia and Croatia.
The purpose of the call is to promote local initiatives that develop knowledge in the field of coding, computational thinking and digital competences, with a special focus on young people and girls, and are aligned with the objectives of the EU Code Week.
Key objectives:
• implementation of innovative coding activities that can be replicated,
• support for initiatives that include coding in education and encourage the participation of students or young people,
• community involvement and fostering cooperation between stakeholders,
• priority will be given to projects that reduce gender gaps and promote diversity in STEM education,

The call from the NGI Zero Commons Fund supports initiatives that will contribute to the openness of the Internet and public accessibility in areas where gaps remain.

SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
In early October, the Goethe-Institut opened applications for the call for proposals under the Culture Moves Europe programme for individual mobility of artists and cultural professionals. The call concerns individual mobility and is intended for artists and cultural professionals from the following sectors: architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, literature, music, performing arts and visual arts.

Razpis mreže FARE za sofinanciranje manjših projektov na področju boja proti homofobiji v nogometu
SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
The FARE Network, an umbrella organization that brings together individuals, informal groups and organizations that are engaged in the fight against inequality in football and use sport as a tool for social change, has published a call for co-financing activities in the field of combating discrimination and exclusion of LGBTI+ people in football.
They support projects that address homophobia in football and promote the inclusion of LGBTIQ+ people. They support various types of activities, such as community events, educational activities, campaign-supporting content, and projects based on local needs and involving more marginalized groups.
Activities must be carried out within the framework of the Football Against Homophobia campaign in February 2026, you can obtain funds in the amount of up to 500,00 EUR.

BIRN: Supporting journalists to prepare investigative stories
OBJECT OF THE CALL:
The Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN) provides financial and mentoring support to journalists to prepare investigative stories that address important social, political or economic issues.
The production costs of an individual investigative story are co-financed, and selected journalists also receive editorial mentoring within BIRN.
The selected journalist receives support in the amount of 1,140 euros. The call is not intended for applications from media organizations or teams.
The call is open until all 20 available grants are awarded. Applications are evaluated in several rounds. The third and final deadline, after which all applications received will be evaluated, is 28 February 2026.

AXA Research Fund and Swiss Re Institute have announced a call for co-financing of short-term research projects that address the challenges of metabolic health and longevity. The call supports projects that develop and test scientific approaches to match individuals with scalable interventions in the field of metabolic health.
