The call supports projects in the following areas:

SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
The European Commission's Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion has launched a call for proposals under the Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI) programme for co-financing two consortia in the field of inclusive entrepreneurship.
The call supports the development and testing of incubation models and financial mechanisms tailored to new and prospective entrepreneurs from groups underrepresented in entrepreneurship.
The priorities of the call include:
• developing or adapting incubation programmes for underrepresented entrepreneurs,
• improving access to finance through cooperation with microfinance organisations, social investors and other financial mechanisms,
• establishing integrated support pathways linking incubation, financing and long-term business support,
• strengthening cooperation between incubators, financial intermediaries, social economy organisations, employment services and research institutions.

As part of the Central European Initiative Exchange Programme, which aims to transfer knowledge and good practices between the CEI Member States that are EU members and countries that have not yet joined the EU, a call for co-financing of projects for 2026 has been published.
The programme supports projects that contribute to accelerating reforms, approximation to the EU acquis and strengthening institutional and professional capacities in the beneficiary countries.

SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
The German Federal Office for Nature Conservation has published a call for proposals for a project to support the German Presidency of the Alpine Convention 2027-2028 in the field of nature restoration as part of the implementation of the Alpine Biodiversity Action Plan, which will be adopted on 21 January 2027 at the XIX Alpine Conference.
The selected contractor will, among other things:
• prepare an overview of the state of nature restoration planning in the Alpine countries and analyse national nature restoration plans, strategies and spatial data,
• prepare a report on gaps, synergies and financing options for nature restoration measures in the Alps,
• organise an international workshop for stakeholders in the field of nature restoration in the Alpine region,
• prepare in-depth analyses for two priority Alpine ecosystems (e.g. rivers, wetlands, grasslands or forests), including recommendations for coordinated restoration planning and identification of cross-border priority areas,
• conduct an online expert workshop for representatives of countries, research institutions and other stakeholders,
• prepare a final publication for the Alpine Conference 2028 and a publication in the BfN-Schriften collection,
• carry out communication activities, prepare summaries for individual Alpine countries and organise a closing event.
The project will cover the entire Alpine arc, therefore the involvement of partners from the entire Alpine area is important, the MNVP also announced.

SMART ERA: Razvoj in preizkušanje pametnih inovacijskih rešitev na podeželju
SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
The SMART ERA consortium, which aims to stimulate the transformation of European rural areas through advanced technology and innovative solutions to address socio-economic and environmental challenges, has launched its second call for co-financing projects.
The second call will support projects that identify key development needs in rural areas and, together with local stakeholders, develop and test new Smart Innovation Packages (SIPs). These must include technological, social, business and management solutions to promote smart rural development.

C4B: Preizkus krožnih biogospodarskih poslovnih modelov v kmetijskih in gozdarskih vrednostnih verigah
SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
The C4B Consortium (Circular Bio-Based Business models to create high-value Bio-based products in integrated value chains) has published a public call for co-financing of pilot projects that will test the applicability, scalability and transferability of circular bioeconomy business models in different business and geographical environments.
Pilot projects will be supported that are based on previously developed C4B business models and include:
• adaptation of the selected business model to a specific business case,
• assessment of the feasibility of the business model from the perspective of technology, economics, governance, fair distribution of benefits and environmental, economic and social impacts.
Projects must address one or more of the following value chains:
• forestry (processing of wood by-products into biocarbon, aromatic compounds or pyrolysis oil),
• agriculture and food industry (processing of residues of cereals, potatoes, apples, grapes and other agricultural raw materials into bio-based chemicals, biochar, polyphenols and other products),
• wetlands and peatlands (processing of biomass from wetlands into bio-based chemicals, lignin and biochar).
In addition to financial support, selected projects will also receive expert support, mentoring, training and networking activities from the C4B consortium.

Within the framework of the Open Rivers programme, which aims to protect and restore free-flowing rivers in Europe, a new round of applications for the public call for proposals is open for co-financing projects for the removal of dams and the restoration of river flow and biodiversity.
The programme supports projects for the removal of small artificial barriers on rivers (dams, weirs, locks, culverts and other obstacles) with the aim of restoring free-flowing rivers and improving their ecological status.
The co-financing is intended for:
• preparatory activities (e.g. feasibility studies, technical documentation, obtaining permits),
• implementation of the complete removal of the barrier,
• continuation of already supported removal projects.

EIT Culture & Creativity: Vzpostavljanje regionalnih učnih in kompetenčnih infrastruktur za trajnostno preobrazbo grajenega okolja
SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
EIT Culture & Creativity, within the framework of the New European Bauhaus (NEB) initiative, has launched a call for co-financing of consortia that will develop, adapt and implement regional competence infrastructures and learning pathways to support the sustainable transformation of the built environment.
Projects that develop lifelong learning, vocational education and training programmes for stakeholders involved in the planning, construction and management of the built environment will be supported. Projects must address identified regional skills gaps, incorporate the values of the New European Bauhaus – sustainability, inclusion and quality design – and build on existing initiatives and regional ecosystems.
Supported activities include the development and implementation of various forms of training and education, such as online courses, micro-evidence programmes, teacher and mentor training, innovation labs and co-creation workshops. The call encourages the development of financially sustainable education models with long-term impact.

EIT Urban Mobility: Izobraževalni projekti na področju trajnostne urbane mobilnost
SUBJECT OF THE CALL:
The EITUM-BP26-28 consortium has published a public call for co-financing of educational and competence-building activities in the field of sustainable urban mobility in the countries included in the EIT Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS). The call contributes to reducing the knowledge gap and strengthens competences in the fields of innovation, entrepreneurship and urban mobility.
Projects will be supported within five strands:
• RISE1 – Strengthening innovation and entrepreneurial competences, including training for researchers, professors, trainers, civil servants, start-ups and young people;
• RISE2 – educational and competence-building programmes in the field of urban mobility, based on the needs of local environments and including technical, social and regulatory aspects of mobility;
• RISE3 – Organisation of winter and summer schools aimed at undergraduate students or young people between the ages of 12 and 19;
• RISE4 – Upgrading and expanding existing local, regional or national educational initiatives to reach a wider audience;

• address grand scientific challenges,
• have the potential to fundamentally transform a particular research field,
• open up new research areas or directions for the development of science,
• would not be able to be implemented within the framework of normal ERC projects due to their scale, ambition or complexity.
The call is open to all scientific disciplines and is based on a "bottom-up" approach, without pre-defined thematic priority areas.

The RIZA consortium: Building European Democracy with Women of Migrant Descent has launched its second call for co-financing projects in the field of promoting the rights and inclusion of migrant women.

The call supports projects that connect Ukrainian artists and cultural organizations with organizations from countries participating in the Creative Europe program. The purpose is to develop and present joint artistic projects on the theme of resilience.
